What customers say?

“ Short hike (also very beautiful)from parking. It's self service but the food (käsespatzle) is absolutely one of the best. The owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is very good. ”

“ A very nice short hike. Very family friendly. Around 2-2.5 km from the parking lot to the Alm. ”

“ This place is amazing in every way. Definitely the highlight of our travel through Austria. The food is delicious!!! ”

“ Good food, nice playground for kids, great host - all the things you enjoy at such a place ”

- Lavrentiy Golovkov -

“ Beautiful alpine pasture, great view, and a good outdoor beer garden with plenty of seating. We deducted a bit because we felt the prices were too high for the location and the self-service (drinks). This isn't a 2000+ meter alpine pasture, with extremely difficult access for supplies, so it's a bit on the expensive side. (€5.20 for a regular local bottled beer.) We didn't try the food, just stopped by for a few drinks. ”

“ What a surprise to arrive here after a beautiful walk through the winter landscape. Highly recommended. ”

- Wilco Doldersum -

“ A lovely spot at the end of this mountain pasture, with an extensive menu. The waiter was friendly and gave us some information about the area. The valley is quite sheltered, so the snow seems to last longer. I went for a short walk but was pleasantly surprised by the option (€4) to rent a sled for the return trip. That was quite an adventurous ride down At the end, near the parking lot, you simply park it in a designated spot. ”

“ It's worth the hike there. A quaint restaurant with hot and cold dishes. My husband and I each had soup. They also serve schnitzel, pasta, Kaiserschmarrn, etc., and more. It was quite crowded, but still cozy. I admired the service. It's self-service, but the food you order is brought to your table. So she had to take the cash, serve drinks, run to the kitchen, and then serve. But she still found time for the guests, was in a good mood, and was happy to welcome each guest. It's a paradise for children. They can play to their heart's content. If someone is unable to hike up due to a walking disability, they can drive there . Klaudia Hellmann ”
